I have a Keratoconus and I have been unable to see 20/20, my night vision was horrible, and the ability to distinguish shades of the same color was an additional problem. I was fitted for contacts a few years ago and could see 20/20 but unfortunately these expensive contacts either were irritating my eyes or they kept popping out. I eventually loss one of them and reverted back to glasses.
I read the testimonies of other patients and decided to try Seattle Vision. Dr. Bruce Williams entered the room and his first question impressed me, "how is your vision" my response was my old family optometrist said " Taryn you are blind in one eye and cannot see out the other." After examining my vision, Dr. Williams and I chuckled about the statement. and he said, "I think I can help you." After more measuring, he wrote a prescription. Within a few days of my visit, my contacts arrived. Immediately I noticed that they were very comfortable and the colors in the room were brighter and more distinct. Upon examination, I could read the 20/20 line and I do not ever remember having the ability to see that clearly in my life. The contacts were so comfortable I was able to wear them the rest of the day and it only took me 2 days and I could wear them all day.
After the final examination for my contacts, I ordered the cutest glasses from their stock and the prescription in those are great too! The staff at Seattle Vision are the greatest. They are very professional, very helpful, very thorough, and personable. I enjoyed my visits during the transition to contacts! I highly recommended Seattle Vision to my co-workers and highly recommend Seattle Vision to everyone!
Make It a Great Day!

“I've been wearing glasses since I was about four or five years old, so I have to say that I definitely have had my share of eye doctors over the years, and over those years I've come to love my eye doctors more than another doctors because they're always the most friendly.... and the doctor I saw at Seattle Vision, Dr. Habib was no exception to this. He was very friendly, professional and got my prescription just right.
Also, the staff over at Seattle Vision are freaking awesome. Super friendly, super helpful, super fast... just great really. They even remembered me when I came back to pick up my glasses a week or so later, which really impressed me because I'm sure they see tons of new faces all the time.
Seattle Vision also takes VSP (which is why I chose them in the first place). The last place I went to with insurance had a really crappy selection of lenses in my price range... but that was not the case here, which made me very pleasantly surprised. I was able to pick out a really cute pair for a really good price.
So... in conclusion... friendly doctors, awesome staff, and great lens selection... what more could you need???”

"I picked up my new glasses yesterday afternoon, and they have already changed my life!
My visit to Seattle Vision was my third attempt in a year to get glasses that would allow me
to see the computer screens I work with all day every day. The last two providers failed
miserably in their attempts to solve my problems. I work with three monitors in front of me
in the office, and until today I could only see one of them well. My ability to read was
limited, and I was dizzy all the time. Now I can see all three monitors perfectly - they
differ in size and resolution - and I'm not dizzy any more. Thank you very much!"

"I went into this place because someone had told me that they had
nice eye glass frames...I found a great pair with the help of a wonderful
staff member. She was very nice, professional, and really knew her stuff!
I picked out 2 pairs of frames and had pretty much made up my mind then
she found a pair that really suited me and my facial features. She also
stayed in my price range and did not try to push some mega bucks frames
on me. I don't know if she works on commission or not but you will never
know it if she does. I really felt like I received exceptional service!
Highly recommend!"

Why I chose Seattle Vision.
I spent a few years at a large name brand chain, but after paying a premium for their products and services on top of them being out of plan for my insurance I decided to shop around. I'm very glad I did. I decided to find a new provider. My needs were pretty easily identified:
Be open when it was convenient for me
Be in my plan coverage and work with me to get the best value
Specialize in multi-focal contact lenses since I was beginning to tire of my glasses.
From the Internet search results, I proceeded to call each one and ask them about their practice and their patient care philosophy. Seattle Vision was the only firm that took time to talk to me about my options for my vision goals, insurance plans and coverage, what to expect on my first visit, and all of this while I was not even a patient let alone having committed to a visit in person. Honestly, that sold me right then and there. They cared about me as a person with a need for vision care, that much was clear even on the phone.
I set up my appointment, downloaded the convenient online forms so that my visit would be spent with the doctor, and not doing paperwork. I appreciated this a lot as at my past provider it seemed I spent as much as twice the time sitting in the waiting room filling out forms as I did actually getting the service I was coming in for. Being able to fill them out on my own time was very thoughtful.
When I walked in the door, I was able to hand in my paperwork, and was sitting only about 4 or 5 minutes before I was introduced to the Doctor. From that point on the examination and consultation was quick, but not rushed.
During the consultation the Doctor was very understanding of my hope for a new way to get my vision corrected and by the time I walked out the door I was wearing my first pair of contact lenses. Working with the other staff there was also a pleasure. They were knowledgeable, patient and provided many different options for glasses, lenses, and cleaning supplies.
Over all the experience was quite wonderful. The excitement that I had in hoping for a non-glasses solution was met with equal excitement in providing options to accomplish it.
I would certainly recommend Seattle Vision for anyone that prefers to be treated warmly, by professionals that respect you and want to help you to achieve your vision goals.
