Doctor Bios
Dr. Bruce Williams, OD, FOAA
Dr. Williams graduated from Portland State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Biology and Pacific University College of Optometry in 1977 with his doctorate. He began his
private practice in Seattle, Washington that same year and today continues to provide innovative
eye care solutions utilizing the latest technologies.
Dr Williams has focused much of his career on contact lenses. He was actively involved in clinical
trials for manufacturers such as Wesley-Jessen back in the 1970's for the early toric soft lens designs.
Most recently he has specialized in fitting patients with new lenses such as Orthokeratology,
Scleral, Hybrid, Keratoconic and Bifocal contacts lenses. He has published, lectured and conducted
workshops on the fitting principles and follow-up care for Orthokeratology across the US and in
countries such as Canada, Australia, Korea, Singapore and the UK.
Dr. Williams is an active member of the AOA, including the Cornea and Contact Lens Section, the
Optometric Physicians of Washington, the British Contact Lens Association, and the British
Orthokeratology Society. He is Vice President, a member of the Board of Directors and chairman
of the education committee for the Orthokeratology Academy of America.

Dr. Aqil Habib, OD
Dr. Habib was born in London, England and grew up in the greater Seattle area.
He attended the University of Washington and Pacific University in Oregon where
he graduated with a degree in Visual Science. He went on to complete his doctorate
through Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating with distinction.
He completed an internship at the American Lakes VA hospital in Washington
focusing on eye diseases. Primary care was the focus of his internships in Oregon
and California. His research at Pacific University included data that will aid the Nike
Corporation in creating sports eyewear.
Dr. Habib focuses his practice on primary care and contact lens fittings. He also places
an emphasis on visual comfort in the work place. He is trained and licensed to use
diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals for the treatment and management of eye
conditions. He believes in great patient care and building relationships with his patients.
Dr. Habib is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric
Physicians of Washington. He enjoys volunteering in the local community and would also
like to donate his time to provide eye-care to underserved countries in the future. In his
free time he enjoys playing golf, tennis and volleyball.
